Sponsor an Animal Ambassador

Animal Ambassadors at Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary are an important part of the museum and help us teach both children and adults about wildlife and the pertinent role the have in nature worldwide! Our hope is that these animal ambassadors will inspire our visitors to care deeply enough about the natural world to take steps to restore and preserve ecosystems in North Texas and around the world.

Every Animal Ambassador has very specific needs. You can help meet these needs by sponsoring them. As a sponsor of an Animal Ambassador, your gift will be directed to The Heard’s animal care and enrichment program to promote the well-being of Heard animals. Your support can be expressed with a simple donation ranging from $25 to $1,000. Individuals, families, or organizations are welcome to participate. Animal sponsorships also make a great gift for friends or family! The satisfaction you receive for supporting our Animal Ambassadors is among the many benefits you will receive from this program.

Remember, as with all living things, the life of Heard Animal Ambassadors is subject to change. If it is taken to another facility, your sponsorship will be transferred to support other Heard animals. Additionally, some animals may be concurrently sponsored due to popularity.
