Native Texas Butterflies

Butterfly House and NEW Butterfly Garden

Zebra longwing butterfly

June 5 - October 10, 2010

Monarchs and queens are back!

Enjoy being immersed among native Texas fluttering butterflies in our butterfly house. See monarchs, julia longwings and question marks. You may even get the chance to see zebras and tigers!

Learn facts about each butterfly species while getting the chance to have them land on you! The exhibit also creates a beautiful setting for pictures.

In the meantime, learn how to attract native Texas butterflies to your own garden.  These instructions will help you to select plants that butterflies use as food for their caterpillars and for nectaring adults.
