Saturday, June 21, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Celebrate the First Day of Summer, the longest day of the year, and our new Snake Exhibit with special activities including an inflatable obstacle course/slide, crafts and games with a special “snake” theme, temporary tattoos, a “Snake Cake Walk,” interactive snake talks, and a special story time featuring the Heard’s own, Judy Schoeneman, author of Jessica the Furry Barro. In addition, our members will receive a special e-vite for the ever popular “Snake Snack’s Outdoor Picnic” sponsored by Great Outdoors Restaurant and featuring “Slithering Snake Subs!” (Reservations required)
