Celebrate Nature Event Overview Each year, the Heard welcomes over 2,000 visitors to our spring festivals. Celebrate Nature will be packed with special activities for the whole family, including live concerts, interactive animal presentations, guided trail tours, demonstrations, "green" vendors, nature-inspired and hand-crafted items made by artisans, and more. Guests will also enjoy our Animals of the World and Animal Superheroes exhibits, and butterfly garden. Participate in our Vendor Black-out Bingo for a chance to receive great gifts. More info>
Your sponsorship and support is vital to our mission to bring nature and people together! Events at the Heard provide a unique opportunity to introduce our sanctuary and museum to the public. They are also one of the primary fundraisers for Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary, which is a private, non-profit organization. |

Did You Know?
Founded in 1967, the Heard consists of a 289 acre wildlife sanctuary and a natural science museum for the primary purpose of educating children about nature.
The Heard exists to bring nature and people together to discover, enjoy, experience, restore, and preserve our priceless environment. In keeping with Miss Heard’s vision, the Heard’s purpose is threefold: education, conservation, and preservation. Through education, particularly for young people, the Heard emphasizes an appreciation of nature and its conservation. |

Partnering with the Heard
Our goal is to create unique programs that maximize the ROI for our partners utilizing our incredible array of features, exhibits, events, entertainment, visitor interaction and educational programs.
With more than 90,000 visitors each year, a partnership with the Heard can provide our partners with the means to impact and interact with thousands of families from all over Dallas and Collin Counties; support the conservation and education efforts of the museum; and help provide a safe and healthy environment for thousands of native Texas plants, animals and other creatures.
