Our organization will be closed to the public this Monday, with entry exclusively reserved for ticket-holders of the sold-out “Total Eclipse of the Heard” event. No additional tickets will be available for purchase.
Heard general admission provides access to our permanent and seasonal exhibits, gardens, our nature trails and more. With 289 acres, the possibilities for fun with nature are infinite! Bring the family, have a picnic at one of our tables, and make a day of it.
All visitors to the Heard are required to purchase a general admission ticket or become a Heard member. General admission is not valid for special events or educational programs requiring separate fees.
Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary is a private (rather than publicly funded), nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Your support through financial contributions, such as your admissions fees, will help ensure the Heard will be sustained for future generations to enjoy.

Your support will help us continue to bring nature and people together. A gift as small as $5 could help feed two of our snake animal ambassadors for a week, for example.
Membership at the Heard includes benefits like free admission, discounted or free guest passes, discount programs and rentals, and more!
Also, as a member of the Heard, you receive free or discounted admission at hundreds of participating science centers and museums nationwide through the ASTC Travel Passport program. Not only does membership offer terrific benefits, but it is also through the support of our members that we can continue doing what we do best—bringing nature and people together! Memberships are largely tax-deductible, as allowed, too.
