A Fun, Festive and Family-Friendly Fundraising Event Benefiting Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary

Holidays at the Heard brings the beauty of the holiday season into nature. Bundle up your family, get out of the house, and experience the most unique family-friendly holiday event in North Texas.

Family Campout – June 1

The Family Campout will offer groups an evening of fantastic discovery after hours! Our programs include team-building activities, the opportunity to experience Texas wildlife, s’mores, and more. Experience what it’s like to be a member of the Heard’s nightlife. And, enjoy a night that your group will never forget!  Spots are limited, so be sure to get your ticket now.

This program is available to families with kids ages 5 through 12. Each attending group must have at least 1 adult per 4 children to provide supervision.

Heard Members-Only Plant Sale Pre-sale 4/12/24

Memberships will be available for purchase at the Pre-sale. They are also available online before the event through our Membership page. The presale event is an exclusive benefit for current Heard Museum members only. As a result, guests may not be admitted.

The 35th Annual Spring Native Plant Sale fundraiser at Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary will feature a huge selection of native plants, hard-to-find herbs and well-adapted plants.

For over 30 years, veteran and novice gardeners alike have anticipated this rare opportunity to purchase some of the best plants for North Central Texas gardens and to obtain many rare plants. The Heard’s plant sale will also feature a selection of native milkweed plants.
